Jack Pad

Problem:

• Pad must be placed between metal surface of Car Jacks or Jack Stands and metal frame of railcar
• Currently carmen typically use plywood or other material available, which does not hold up
• Plywood cracks and splinters after repeated use create safety concerns

Solution:

• Pennsy has developed a pad using an advanced polymer which will not degrade

Results:

• The Pennsy Jack Pad will not crack and splinter like wood, and withstand repeated jacking
• Safety orange color so it can be identified and will not get lost
• Has a hole so that it can be tied to the Car Jack or Jack Stand
• Pennsy’s pad will not become brittle in the cold, and will maintain its shape after repeated use
• Grooves in the part create a non-slip surface to prevent the car from slipping off the jack
